I highly recommend Donna’s course, I had completed a bio hazard course which briefly covered hoarding, this is 100 times more detailed enabling you to understand the hoarder condition and how you can support hoarders through the decluttering process. Broken down in to modules with workbooks for each module, knowledge of the types and reasons for hoarding, the challenges they face, safety considerations, how to build rapport, different approaches to supporting the decluttering process, challenges you may come up against and so much more. Donna’s knowledge and determination to erase stigma and increase awareness is contagious. Having a members group was also great for peer support. I only wish this course was around sooner!
